JaredHorenstein Jun 11, 2005 08:48 PM

Not too many of these out there..........What a killer pastel this guy is!

Here is my 02 Ruppel Male on the right compared to a Lemon Pastel on the left......

Hoping to see some of the first ones this year...

"Still owned by Stan......"

I can see why.
Yours is nothing to sneeze at either.
Nice animals!

What the hell was in the rest of that clutch? Was this a simple Pastel x Pastel or Pastel x Normal breeding or was there some sort of "extra" gene thrown in for fun?

Jared,

He looks awesome!! Best of luck with getting little carbon copies of him.

What happened to the Ruppel market? Seems like they were all over the place for a little while....and then no where to be found.

Basically people heard about and saw these..........so they bought his other Regular pastels............produced regular pastel babies and started selling em as these pastels since he produced these......

Here is the a pic of the clutch that they came from........

See if you can tell the difference........

Mine is in the Top right corner........Stans hold back is in the bottom left.......& I think that VPI got the top middle snake....but i am not positive about that.....Regardless somethign is going on here.........They were produced from his pastel male bred to a "normal".

Cant wait for hatchlings!

I had wondered. They are gorgeous. I always thought they looked like a cross between a pastel and a Genetic Granite. I can't wait to see what pops out of your eggs. Keep us posted.

Here's an image of one of our Stonewashed Pastels, and he's a real looker!

These are gorgeous Pastels and even though people say it's just a variant of a Pastel, it's a nice variant.
