Swimming in a pool

has anyone ever let their anaconda swim in a pool that would be pretty awseome but clorine in a pool would probably be bad for their skin

hey dude,

it isnt healthy for the anaconda to drink the water, make sure the snake is hydrated. as far as the skin on the snake goes, rinse the snake off well. but dont take the snake for a swim in the water every day.

yeah i was wondering i dont have an anaconda i just have a burm and 2 jcps and i was just wondering if anyone has ever let their snake go in the pool because it would be awesome to see it in deep water

I used to let all my snakes take a dive in the pool, they LOVED it. Just make sure they are hydrated like someone else stated...maybe even let them sit in the tub for 10 minutes before going outside. It's not bad for their skin as it is much easier to withstand water than ours. Like I said, a swim in the pool is not a problem as long as they are not water deprived and take a good chug of the pool water.
