Thinking of getting a leopard tortoise

Hsoj Jun 12, 2005 12:21 AM

Hello fellow herp lovers!
I lost my ornate box turtle in a tragic dog attack last year. I'm left to mourn with my crested gecko, redtailed boa and anoles. Now I'm hoping to get a leopard to help saticfy my love for tortoises. I was wondering if you guys would recommend getting a hatchling or an adult. Also hoping you can list some good leopard sites, ones that sell them and give good information, because i dont want to buy from a pet store.
Thanks for all the help

Hi,
I'm thinking about the very same thing...so if you get some good info can you pass it along

It's either a Leopard or a Russian..not sure which will stand the NJ climate better. And I think I'd prefer an adult. I'm too new for a baby!!

Toodles,
Joanne

Well if you poke around here on kingsnake you'll find lots of links and adds for people selling leopards. Baby's can be the hardest since they can be tempermental. But adults if you can find one can be very expensive.
