Little white bugs??

ZPD Jun 12, 2005 03:28 AM

I had a person ask me a question the other day about bugs. I wasnt able to help them as i had never experienced or heard of this before myself. I told them to to to kingsnake and post the question, but, they dont have internet so here i am. These people have ball and corns, they keep both on bark or wood chips. Apparently they are finding little white bugs crawling through the snakes poop. Between the size of a flea and a house fly. About the size of this letter E crawlingf quickly out of the poop? Any ideas as to what it may be? Thanks for your help of you can...

Can you post a pic.? Alot of bugs like poop. And for now I would consider changing substraits. Newspaper or paper towels will work great.

Could be wood mites, they should either find a different supplier of substarte or change it all together. Best to put the snakes on paper for a while to make sure the bugs are not in or on the snakes.
