Feeding Tips???

nechushtan Jun 12, 2005 03:44 AM

My daughters yearling E. Schrencki hasn't eaten in a month. We've tried F/T, Live fuzzies, live pinkies, dipped in egg yolk, soaked in Chicken broth, and even leaving a live fuzzy in the cage for 3 days (with water and food of course). The last time she did anything was a month ago when she killed two fuzzies but ate neither. She did eat one week prior to that (2 large fuzzies) and she dosn't appear to be losing any weight. She does seem quite lethargic, but has soaked herself and moved around a bit.
Any suggestions?

Either of these may work:
1. raise the temps to mid eighties for a few days then try feeding again.

2. Lower the temps for several weeks, then slowly raise back to normal, THEn try feeding.

Rising temps are a trigger, it seems.
