Mesh wire and UV light

CokeOfMan Jun 12, 2005 08:42 AM

From what I've understood 40% of the UV rays dissapear as they go through an aluminum net.
For my future Knight Anoles I have meshwire and UV-lights above that, do I have to switch the mesh or will it be fine anyway(any alternative soloutions?)?

Thanks In Advance

As long as the wires are spaced out at least 1/4" it should be fine. Most nets are spaced closer together to ensure the catch and to prevent the net from being split open. If your meshwire is spaced to closely there should be something at a hardware store that your anoles or crickets can't climb through.
