could you get around the 15 minute a week rule????????

i know that you are only recommended to hold a ball python for 15 minutes a week but could i do about 5 to minutes a day or something like that!!!!

Who gave you that bogus advice 15 minutes??? You can handle your snake as much as you want. When the snake gets tired of being held you should know. Now over handling is bad but there shouldnt be a time limit. I would suggest more along the line of 20 minutes a day isnt a bad schedule. Just wash your hands before and after. I know as we speak one of my snakes is sittin under the screen on my computer table just hanging out with me. If a snake doesnt want to be handled it will let you know. Just give 24-48hrs after feeding before handling.

You can hold one more than that, once they become accustomed to being handled. You'll know, because he won't tense up any more when you handle. Start off with a little and as he learns not to be stressed you can do more.
