Do Leucies have clear nails? Since they are hypopastels.... but then I see dragons labled as hypopastels with dark nails. I had a snow with the blackest nails I have ever seen, so this hypo stuff confuses me!

Ok, so assuming they do, then it's safe to say that when a leucy is bred to another morph those babies are not only het for leucy, but het clear nail? I mean, so if the het leucy is bred to something that is het clear nails, you will get some clear nails right? Does this make sense? LOL!!

I wish dragon genetics were as straightforward as corn snakes, but then again, not knowing what to expect is kinda fun!

Yes, "Leucistics" have clear nails. Also, hypopastels have clear nails. If you see a dragon labeled hypopastel with dark nails, it is incorrectly labeled.

If you breed a het for leucy to a het clear nailed hypopastel.. you will get some clear-nailed dragons, yes.
