She laid last night or today in her rack system and i came home tonight....so will the eggs be ok. while i get everything ready???? the room is 83 or so but she is in her drawer in the rack....

Try to keep them about 87-88F with Mum, and spray the warm end of the cage (not the eggs) to keep the humidity up. No problems at all. I've done this for over a week while making incubator space. Not ideal, but its NO worries man.

Whenever I can't pull the eggs right away, I pull the tub out and turn it around so she is not directly on the heat source if that's where she had them. A little cool for a day is better than 1 hour of hot.

Now I know I come down on people here, and get people all pi$$ed off at me but........Why isn't your incubator ready? If anyone out there is expecting eggs and hasn't had their incubator working for at least a week with a high low thermometer in it....Get your lazy procrastinating butt in gear.

If the eggs are valuable, make sure you have 2 thermostats on it. Scratch that....valuable or not....a back up thermostat is a must!!!!!!! What happens when you start your incubator.... get it to the right temp....put the eggs in..... and go to sleep????? Then you wake up and its' 150 degrees. I'll tell you.....hard boiled eggs. Then you come on here crying the blues. I hate cry babies. I love baby snakes.

I had it running for 3 weeks and shut it down. Then she laid 5 days early while i was out for the weekend so i am kickin myself, but theyre a ok.....thanx guys for all the advice and help.....hopefuly ill have 5 pastel clutches.
