Weather Page Links

I've added a few links on the top of the weather page.
Of particular interest to you should be the links to
precipitation data for the past 24 hours, and 7 days.

There are still many broken links to be fixed further down the page, but the important data is right at the top of the page.

Brad Alexander, you need to send pics of your Musquiz animal from last year.

Any of you guys that have really top notch habitat photos, and great landscape photos of alterna land - send them in. I'm going to update all the county place holders and image galleries.

It might take a year or two total to do what I want to the page, but if we all contribute it will be something for us all to be proud of.

Joe somewhere I think I still have a pic of the Lajitas Shannon and I collected although I may have lost it. I do remember sending it in to ks a long time ago. I will try to find it, wc Lajitas seem to be underrepresented on the alterna page.

What size do you want the pics to be if we send them to you.
I have a few shots from the big hill that are nice. Several facing both sides. Also a few shots from Caruthers on 277. The camera I used is nothing big, a kodak 6.1 mp.

Also Mike Price is supposed to have the animal that Lance Benton and Norm Nunley collected in the Musquiz from 1995. It is an awesome animal and some pics would be well deserved. You might see if he can send some to you.

Last, what address would you like them sent to? So many email clients filter out pics and executables for virus protection.

Thanks for updating the page! Really appreciate it.

I'll take anything you guys want to send, Lajitas and Musquiz would be great, as well as any habitat photos you have.

Send the files to my road runner account jforks@ and send them 640 pixels or larger. I can deal any size through that road runner pipe but will probably post them at 640 pixels to keep file sizes reasonable.

Thanks a lot!

I just took pictures of that Musquiz Canyon again yesterday. The original from the field isn't that great. Actually, the one I just took isn't that great either but better then how he was when I found him as a nearly DOR.

I'll get it sent off to you in the next couple of days.

Thanks again for your work on the Alterna page.

Brad
