Well, I have some baby SIGB's I just got from J. Conway, and putting them in a little deli cup for 12-24hrs seems to be working. I also dipped the pinky in water and rubbed on my pacman frogs back.......?? Try the deli cup! Put them in at about 8pm and see what happens in morning.

Best of luck~

Try the deli cup but remember scenting is the key. They will readily take anoles and small tree frogs. Good luck!

I have had some that never would switch over to rodents. They did well however on anoles. I would try that and do the senting, dont get discouraged because with some animals it could take months before they switch. Another technique i like is to feed it an anole then have a pinky or fuzzy on some tweezers. Hold the pinky at the back of the anole after the snake starts to swallow. As the snake swallows the lizardyou keep moving the pinky with it and the snake will swallow the pinky along with the lizard. He gets a taste of the rodent with the anole and could make the process a little quicker.

I have a pair of babies I got from Jerry as well...they were adamant about NOT taking pinks, scented or unscented for the first month I had them. I broke down and offered them some cricket frogs (Acris sp.). After 3 meals of cricket frogs, I offered them scented live pinks (scented with cricket frogs), and they took them. A week later I offered them scented pinks (live)again, and they took them. This last week, I offered them unscented pinks, and they took them.

Basically, I just kept a few frogs frozen in a deli cup. At feeding time, I'd thaw them out, add a few drops of water to create a "broth", and let the live pinks stew around in there for an hour or so. I did this at night, which is important. The snakes usually took the pinks within 15 minutes or so of them being introduced.

Hope this info help, scenting is the way to go, after a few meals of scented pinks, they'll get the idea and start taking unscented.
