Hello:
I've got a baby ball and three rats in my apartment they are not next to each other but they are in the same room in the day the baby ball hides all day, but at night I see him raising his head as if smelling the air with his tounge in direction of the rats
Can he smell the rats? If he does does, this stress him a lot? and should I separate them or is this good for the snake? like using his senses.Any advice is greatly received.

I have rats and a snake and never had a problem... just make sure you don't handle your rats and get rat smell on you unless you want to get mistaked for food some day...
