Not having any alterna, here's a bull from "a little further up" Highway 277 (by a few hundred miles!).
I'm only an occasional poster, so I wouldn't anticipate any big hoohah about me being gone, but on the off-chance someone does ask...
In a few days, I will be on hiatus for the foreseeable future (prior obligations put me in a place with limited Internet access). I can explain (a little) privately via email if you're dying to know the reason--those familiar with me can probably guess, but I ask that no discussion or speculation take place here.
I only regret I didn't make it down to the Trans-Pecos this year; sounds like everyone's cleaning up. I've been skunked every time the past few years--have yet to find a grayband, but it's fun to read of others' exploits here.
