Back from The Bend...

MaxPeterson Jun 14, 2005 03:35 AM

Just got back from Big Bend - Had an awesome trip.
Got to hang out with "Woodsrider","Sighthunter", & "Keith c" (among others).
My son, who just turned seven, caught his 1st alterna! (see the greyband forum).
Here's a pic of me, Woodsrider, & a nice suboc on the Scout Rd.
Cheers,
Max

Here is an adult female Celanops from Boy Scout Road, she appears to be gravid. It was awesome to see her in the headlights in the middle of the road. She has had a rough life. At one time she had a broken back, and has a few nicks and scars here and there. I figured I'd give her an easy life from now on, so she will not have to search for food or shelter,or dodge cars any more.

Do you have another pic of that snake? From that angle it doesn't look like any subocs I have ever seen. Are those diamond shapes on it?

What Suboc ??

The mysterious Moss Monster was sighted deep in West Texas with what appears to be an offspring! This is a rare sight indeed, only one other sighting has occured this century. And to see one with a baby is unreal.

I hope the border patrol stopped him before entering the US.

Do you think I might have been accidentally freehandling an atrox?
And to think, I hadn't even started drinking yet! LOL

I could blow the pic up, but K.S. doesn't allow me to post full sized pics - Trust me, it was a very nice ovulating female.
We found a male trailing her a few seconds after letting her go.

Going back & looking at my pics...
The pattern did go from "H"s to diamonds.
The blondes have diamonds, but this was nowhere near the blonde range, & definitely not a blonde.
Probably should have hung onto her & produced some new morphs.

Happy camper, sorry for being my usual smart-a$$ self - Good eyes.
Cheers, Max
