what will make my hatchlings grow faster fuzzy mice or rat pinks on a 7 day cycle provided they eat 1 apiece
since i dont understand that thingy that tosha put up hahaha

LOL - sorry TMI? The difference between rats and mice are very slim when they (food items) are neonate/juvies - whatever you're guys will eat will work just as well.

Once they (your snakes) get bigger and can handle adult size rats then yes rats are higher in fat and will pack on the pounds, but you have to be careful you don't end up with obese animals.

Also some people find that if you don't want to get stuck with a "mouse eater" then you should start them on rats. From what I've noticed there hasn't been a big difference in how fast my hatchlings grow compared to what they eat.

Here are two of mine the normal is a "mouse eater" the albino a "rat eater". Both were started out on mice, one outgrew mice and switched to rats and one didn't. They are both about the same age and eat once a week.
