Lineatus update......

honuman Jun 14, 2005 12:37 PM

Last week I posted about getting a pair of Lineatus. Thanks for everyone's input (showering etc.).

Just wanted to let you know they are doing fine. Eating like champs and all last week and this weekend the female was just screeching like a crazed cat when the male went near her. I thought she didn't want him touching her but then she would go to the other end of the enclosure and start calling like that.

Last night, before I turned in, I went to the enclosure to give the a misting and notice they were copulating. I guess they must be happy. Any idea what the length of time is between copulation and egg laying?

Thanks

Steve

The same thing happened with me when I put my new female lineatus in with my male. The night I put her in they woke me up making loud noises. Its been awhile and shes gotten bigger. Hopefully I'll find eggs soon.
