There are a ton of gnats living in the soil of my chameleons plants (hibiscus and ficus). Does anybody have a solution for this?

There are probably lots of gnat eggs in the soil, and other than changing out the entire pot or swapping the plant for another one, they are hard to get rid of. They don't hurt anything, but are a nuisance and a sign that your plants are too wet. If you increase the pot's drainage by putting a layer of pebbles in the bottom and keeping put saucers emptied it will help. You'll probably always have a few.
