gotboids18 Jun 14, 2005 04:51 PM

I grabbed this guy from a local petstore about a year ago, I didn't know a thing about morphs at the time.. Tom Stokes of Stoked Serpents came by to pick up a group of hypo boas from me and mentioned that this little guy looked axanthic, what do you guys think??? Thanks for looking and opinions would be great!!!! Here are a few close ups..

His belly isn't anything out of the ordinary.. Thanks again for looking!!

I would say that is not only an axanthic, but it could very well be a beautiful example of what axanthics should look like! How old is it? Male or female? I would definately breed it and prove it out if I were you! Best of luck with it and keep us posted

Bristen.

Thanks for responding, Clifford (the name my daughter gave him, after the big red dog) has got to be pushing 2yrs old, I'm not sure though, I've had him a year and he was no where near a baby when I got him.. I'm guessing he's in the 800-900 gram range... Is it hard to make balls breed in the summer?? I'd try it now if I thought I had a shot at it... Thanks again...

you can do a search online about breeding, lots of information.. I think there's a pretty good caresheet even here on Kingsnake.com... the best thing for you to do, is feed it good in the summer, get some healthy females ready for him and breed him this coming fall/winter.

Best of luck with him,
Bristen.
