Got to do a little snake hunting on the lower Wisconsin River in Sauk County today with my girls. Here is my daughter/herping buddy with a big ole eastern (common) gartersnake. Both daughters got to hold it. It was pretty well mannered and very gravid.

We chased a bunch of northern water snakes too and managed to catch one. I'm going to post a pic on the watersnake forum if interested.
