Yeah, so I just needed to cheer to someone who cares... LOL I tried a frozen rat yesterday, and she didn't take it, but she tore the cage apart last night, so I had to go in and put her thermometer back where it belongs. When I reached in, she came bailing out of her hide box like she thought I was a rat, so I figured "what the hell, whats one more rat?" So I thawed out another, and she took it!!! Why was it so hard yesterday, and so easy today??? I don't really care, so long as she takes frozen next week too... LOL

Thanks for reading!!!

It can be a pain sometimes! It's really hard figuring out each of the difficult feeders little quirks for f/t. I have one female that likes it to be a surprise so I pull her cage out a bit and she gets lined up on the side of her water bowl and I'll drop it in and she snatches it up. Really weird, but it works for some reason!

I guess I lucked out. At the beginning of the year, I purchased 6 newly imported Bangka Island bloods. Within 3 weeks, all were taking f/t rats off the floor of their enclosure. None has skipped a meal since...regardless of their shedding cycles (yup, feeding day comes and they eat - even if they're fully opaque)
