My uromastyx has his eyes closed all the time. I am aware this is a sign of stress but I don't know what could be causing the stress. He eats and his temperatures are perfect as well as his cage size. At first I thought it might have been the dust from the sand I was keeping him on but I removed it and a month later he is still doing it. Any ideas?
( i also think he is WC its a mali and hes about 9 1/2 inches )

thanks

Is he walking around with his eyes closed or does he only do it when he's stretched out and lounging around? Sometimes, the latter means he's comfortable and he tolerates your presence. My male mali does that a lot later in the evening (about 2 hours before his lights go out). He'll lie in his favourite spot and close his eyes (he looks so contented like this), occasionally opening one to check out what I'm doing.
If you find yours is keeping his eyes closed all the time, a vet visit may be in order.

Good luck

Well when I pick him up and while he is moving, he opens and shuts them constantly ( but he won't keep them open). He opens them when he is eating and he always has them closed while he is basking.

Sounds to me like it may be a parasite issue. My Saharan was this way when we first got him. I took him to the vet later that week and had a fecal done. To quote the vet "I could teach an entire parasite class from his one fecal". I would at the least have a fecal done. Does he run around once warmed up or glass dance? It doesn't sound like it is stress related though.
