recieving a tank.....pygmy chams

chamsrcool Jun 15, 2005 10:27 AM

im getting a tank that is 30 inchs both long and tall and 18 inches deep (i think i need to measure agian but those are close)

anyways do you think this would work for a small colony of pygmy chams. I would go with the brevis just becuase they are suppost to like to climb too.

just trying to get some ideas for how to set up the tank.
here are my other two plans.
a paludarium: the tank as a door in the side about 10 inches off the bottom and i was going to fill the bottom with water put some ficus plants in back after letting them sit in my lake soil less for a few weeks(being done now weither this setup goes or not) and getting fish and long tail lacetids and anoles

the second idea is the same as the first without the water and getting agian more anoles and long tailed lacertids.

Hey I too want a pair or trio of brevicaudatus. I found this great article yesterday on housing these little guys check it out on chameleonnews.com if I spelled that wrong just search for chameleon news on google. Anyways go to the current issue a click on the housing brevis article. It's a great read.
