I am looking for ideas on what to plant in the outdoor enclosure so my chuck can just eat freely. Should I be concerned about extra vitamin/calcium supplements while he is outside?
Thanks.

Here we go------- dandelions, common ragweed ( kind with narrow dissected leaves stay smaller than the one with "mitten" type leaves ), Virginia pepperweed, prostate type Euphorbia ( like Rattlesnake Weed in the Deserts), Palafoxia ( I'll send you seeds if you want)-- those first five mentioned are most favorites here. Common Sunflowers ( they eat the leaves better than flowers), Gaillardia ( there are cultivars in Garden Centers now-- they eat leaves & flowers of these), Zinnias, Snapdragons, Pansies, Most all in the Aster/ Sunflower/ Daisy family and most Legumes.
But--- most of em are really weeds. They are not pretty but they are easy to grow !
I'll post more as I think of em !! Somewhere in the archives should be several list --maybe!

Thanks for all of the suggestions. I just want to make sure that I have the best for my little guy.
