not sure about feeding....but the skin...my reptile shop told me to put the snake in water. just take a tupperware bowl large enough for him to be in...and soak him for a little while and it shoudl come right off

Thanks....
Wrinkled skin and in folds is it apart of the shedding or is it a sign of dehydration?

It's a sign that your humidity levels are too low. Dehydration could follow.

Hello:
Any ideas of how to rise the temperature in the enclosure.....

coldthumb Jun 15, 2005 11:18 PM

A reptile heating pad and a thermostat (with a temperature probe)to control it.(Otherwise it could burn your bp and possibly your home.)

No heat rocks...they are known belly burners.

For the moment i would suggest using a standard heating pad (type made for humans)set on "low" underneath one end of the cage.Only temporarily though. As they are not stable enough to be a permanent solution.

The thermal range you want to achieve is 92F on one end and 79F on the cool end.

...and type this into Google,or the search engine of your choice. " Ball Python care sheet "
