Florida Resident, or someone who would like to make a drive?!?!?! JPShadow.....

My brother in law called me today from his work place. He caught a 4ft (or around 4ft) Argus monitor. I picked the monitor up from him on my lunch break. It appears to be female and doesn't look like a cross (to me anyways). I'll get some pics up later tonight when I get home from work. I really don't know how truly feisty she is. She hisses a lot and will use her tail when restrained. I think if I give her some le-way and just hold her (not restrain) she will be fine although she is very defensive. Anyways.....I don't have the room or cage space for her (really wish I did!). I'm looking for someone who is going to give her a good (or great) home! Her weight looks good and she appears flawless. I'll put my money on it that she will adjust real quick! If anyone is interested please let me know. I don't even have something that I could use as a temp cage so she really needs to go ASAP for the monitor’s sake.

Here she is! Upon futher inspection she is missing a few nails, although she still has her toes. I'd have to say she's 3 1/2ft or something like that. The box she is in is about 3ft long and about 2ft wide.

And now I find out she's pretty calm, I wasn't holding her front feet back:

Sorry I wasn't around to reply to you. Glad you found the argus a home.
