I think it turned out pretty well... It took me two weeks to build (using this: 708designs.netfirms.com/customcage/customcage.htm)and will house my trio of BDs...

hey really nice.....question for you....how much did it cost to build that set up?

i see that you've used oak on at least the face of it. is the rest made with pine?

one more question....i see that you've used recessed light fixtures. how much do they cost?

very nice job building it....and i'm sure you must have spent more time planning how to build it.

>>how much did it cost to build that set up?

It only cost around $100, but I had most of the materials already on hand (paint, glass, polystyrene, wood, etc.) if you needed to buy everything and start from scratch it would probably cost a whole lot more...

>>i see that you've used oak on at least the face of it. is the rest made with pine?

It was all wood I had on hand, but I'm pretty sure it was all the same type though...

>>i see that you've used recessed light fixtures. how much do they cost?

The fixtures I used were just ordinary clamp lamps, like you can get a walmart for $10, that I clamped to two bars I ran across the top of the cage...
