Please help me, I don't want them to die

creepypiercedchk Jun 15, 2005 04:32 PM

I cannot get my eastern spadefoot toads to eat. I've had them almost a week and none of them will eat. I don't know what to do. I can't find any information on how to keep them as pets, and the person I bought them from won't give me any information. I have all these other frogs and toads as pets and I don't have any trouble with them, just these spades. Pleeeease help me someone!

Well they could be nervous, my FBT's were nervous for a week or so and hardly ate.

Also do you have enough substrate for them to bury under, and a water dish for them.

Putting black construction paper covering 3 sides of the tank will give it more closure and they might eat then.

Also are you feeidng them the appropiate size crickets or whatever you feed them.

Hey.

I actually replied to your first post about these toads. Scroll down a bit and you will find it.
