I have a male corn that has what I believe to be an undigested mouse stuck in his abdomen. He ate two mice last week (f/t) and used the bathroom once since then but still has a bulge in his stomach. He is kept on cypress mulch but is not fed on it so it shouldn't be a blockage. Internal parasites maybe? We've had him over a year so he's not a new arrival. My normal vet is on vacation (why is it always when you need them they are gone?) and I've never had this problem before so I'm not sure what to do. It is my daughter's snake so we are all really worried. Sorry for the long post and bad pics but I tried. Thanks!

Is there not an on-call vet in your area? If so, I think I'd call....
Good luck with him.

I love it when people add pictures to there posts. From your description, and pictures, it looks as if one of the mice from it's last meal did not enter the stomach (which resides further down, past most of the long lung), and thus was not digested. This snake needs to be seen by your vet soon. Sooner if you see other symptoms, like discomfort, lethargy ect.

Good luck!
Ian

Thanks for the responses. Sebastian regurgitated the mouse a couple days ago. I took him to my vet with a stool sample. Everything is alright again.
