Breeding in 32qt Tubs

kylescott Jun 15, 2005 07:14 PM

Does anyone here have good luck breeding balls in 32 qt tubs. I know I will have better luck with CB-70's, but for right now all I have is racks that hold 32 qt sterilite tubs. I am going to start breeding next season and would like to be prepared.

Thanks,
Kyle

Iris CB-70 tubs are 37.1 quarts or 35 liters or 9.25 gallons.

Any container with a surface area about 30 x 15 or larger should work well. The Iris tubs are 33.5 x 17.75 x 6

Just go with the largest container you can!

Good Luck!

I just looked on my CB-70 tubs and they are 9.25 Gallons, which is 37 Quarts.
I also have the 32 quart Sterlite tubs in another rack, but those are kind of small for a breeding female.
Hope this helps.
