I know that regular meal worms turn into beetles...but are giant meal worms the same? Normally mine just get all black and I throw them out and this is the first time they have successfully changed over. They look like they are gonna be able to fly....can anyone just give me a quick heads up? Thanks!

hehehhehe, If you are talking about superworms, mine turn into big black bugs that just "walk " around and have a funny oder, LOL

Now if they are just bigger meal worms that you are talking about, maybe they do fly because the small mealies when they turn into beetles do fly !

So it depends if ya have mealies or supers, your saying big mealies so I take it thats what ya have flying beetles.

I know you are not worried, LMAO .........

until one lands on your head, and then you will post and ask if they lay beetle eggs in your hair, hahahahahhahahaaha

You know, I actually took pictures of them the other day but my sister lost her camera. And I am scared of super worms...so they get giant meal worms because those are somehow less scary.....what am I going to do with flying beetles? Maybe I am a smidge worried......oh and....HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME! hehehe The ripe old age of 22. Gonna do nothing all day!

Dang, such an old lady at 22, thats from all the worrying you do, you will be gray before you know it.

and yes, Eve, 22 IS old. I'm 22 and I just went cane shopping yesterday. Bad back you know. shouldn't have lifted that last rock......hah. Just kidding =)
