Is this stuff safe? It says specially formulated for uromastyx but it has alot of protein in it and I was wondering if it could be detrimental to a uromastyx's health. If a herbivore gets too much protein they will have kidney failure.

I've been using that stuff on my uros' food for over a year now and it works great. They even like the taste. Uros still need some protein, they do eat the occasional insect.

Do you use it daily?

I have the same concern. Deer fern farms uses it but I have heard pro's and con's about it. I am trying to sort out the information that I have been finding. But like everything there are those that say it is great for use about 5 days a week and those that say not to use it but 2 days a week. I heard that T-Rex doesn't recommend it for daily use but I am yet to find out for sure. I will let ou know what I find.

The bottle says it is meant to be used daily the more often you use the better it is for your animal.

It's more than just a vitamin supplement, it's a complete food supplement. It gives the uro everything it needs to grow and develop properly and in the correct amounts for daily feeding. My uros love this stuff, they always turned their nose up at the calcium supplement (it tastes pretty gross).
