Tomato worms and nightcrawlers

Dragon Master Jun 15, 2005 11:34 PM

Those are the only two things I can get Kane to eat on a regular basis. I've tried everything else. Once in a while, he''ll eat superworms. Still referring to it as he, sorry. S10 is eating crickets. Maybe he'll start to eat superworms soon. I'll try other bugs, like wxies and butterworms, maybe silkworms as well.

Listen to fast music while looking at the bouncing truck. Creepy.

I feed mine primarily superworms, not sure if it's the right thing to do, but he does like them. I dust them once a week with calcium d-12. Crickets just get lose and are a major pain so i don't do that at all. Once a month or every 2 weeks i'll get him a fuzzy. What else should I add to his diet, superworms only may not be a good idea anymore. I've done things such as crickets, night crawlers, superworms, veggies rarely, pinkies, fuzzies and that's about all i've tried.

Try nightcrawlers and tomato worms. and cockroaches too. I've had luck w/those in the past. I'm going to try tomato worms with S10 while they're small. That way, I'll feed the small ones to him and the big ones to Kane.

i had the same problem with my basilisk. i would feed him pretty much crickets, superworms and the occasional fuzzy. then i tried different types of cockroaches and decided that that was the best staple food item for him. they dont stink, they live alot longer than most invertabrates and the nutritional value is much better than most. maybe give roaches a try and see if they like those?
