leopard ratsnake

can anyone tell me the number of days between a prelay shed and egg deposition for a leopard ratsnake (elaphe situla). i have a gravid female who is about to shed. Thanks. Rin

Not exactly, but I would guess 5 to 10 days. I'd put a nest box in right after the shed, or before.

i assume that incubation temps are around 80 degrees like other ratsnakes.

...80-82*F. works good. A slight drop at night, like77-78*F. won't hurt the eggs, and may be good for them. Try not to let them go over 82*.
