My greenish NC Copperhead, (feeding pix were necessary)

guttersnacks Jun 16, 2005 11:33 AM

Man, 3rd time is a charm right? I keep screwing this post up before I can POST it.
Ok, so heres the short. I got this NC female a few years ago as my first hot. She's got greenish blue between her scales. Just thought I'd post some pix to generate some talk about it, good or bad or indifferent.
She's laid back in the cage, relaxed and curious about faces up against the glass, but grabs her food and latches on like a pitbull until it's dead. She's BRUTAL.
The first pic has hint of the green right above the waterbowl curl she has. The following 2 pix show the green better.
Im looking for a greenish male to pair her up with.

I dont know about green copperheads but I have seen greenish cottonmouths from the low country in South Carolina. Nice specimen and I hope you find another and breed them.
