My GTP was a little too bitey when it came to cleaning and such, so to make my life easier, I did this.
The perches are pvc piping. I used caps to hold it onto the sides of the tub, which was $7 at walmart. I cut half of the caps in half (but left the full back part!). Leaving half the caps in tact, allows for the perches to be removed, but held firmly in place to prevent rolling. The ends of the pipe that aren't locked in, I cut a little notch out so that the screws holding the caps to the tub wouldn't interfere...simply place the perch into the in-tact cap, slide it down over the screw, and twist it a bit so that it locks.
Figured this would be helpful for those looking for a cheap, effective way to house a bitey snake.
