How regular is regular?

How often should a seven inch beardie, for lack of a better word, poop? I was just wondering, I don't have any problems with Brillo (what I decided to name him/her). So far Brillo has been pooping about once every other day, at least as far as I can tell. Eats, is active, and does everything a beardie should be doing. I mist Brillo after every meal (twice a day) and have a water bowl that he can fit into if he wants to, but it's no higher than 1/2 his height if he's laying down. Thanks for your input, and is the water bowl ok to have in the tank?

That sounds like his poopingi s right on track. As they get older and eat less often they will also poop less often, this is natural. Having a water bowl in the cage is ok, but he probably wont drink out of it. I like to keep a dish of water in the cage to keep the humidity around 30%, even though these are desert animals, some humidity is needed. If your dragon doesn't drink from a dish you may consider soaking him in warm water occasionally to make sure he stays hydrated.

mine have never drank from a water bowl. It's ok to have in there, though. he probably will just poop in it. i mist, or , most often, give water via a medicine dropper off their noses. i keep doing this until they stop lapping. mine seem to prefer drinking this way. good luck!
