sides / kind of lean over at times to bask?

LOL, I suppose since their backs are high they tend to lean over to heat themselves, but it looks crazy

I thought at first maybe the branch he was on was too close to the basking light , but its really not. Is this something they all do?

OR "should" I lower the branch ? It's about 8 inches under the light, and he also has access to other branches lower, so he could move also. ????

I've seen my baby veiled (3months) lean sideways on his basking branch before....I assume its normal...I always wondered about that

It just looks like hes leaning over..which kinda looks weird and uncomfortable!
