Whats up everybody. I had darts a few years ago and I think I'm finally ready for some more again. I probably gonna go with a 20 gal this time, don't know if H or L yet though. If I get froglets how many luecs and auratus should I get? 2 or ea, 3 luecs 2 aura? I might wanna sell off any females when the get old, keep that in mind too.
And Ive heard you can't mix luecs with tincs, is that correct? And one more question, if I do go with azur or tincs, how many in the 20 gal, and is H or L better? thanks

Most will say that Tincs and azureus should really only be kept in pairs. Auratus and Leucs can be kept in groups. In a 20L I would go with Auratus (3-4) and in a 20H I would go with Leucs (3-4). The rule is 1 frog per 5 gallons, but I like more space and I think more space is healthier.

For azureus, I would only put 2 (preferably male and female) in a 20--In fact, that's what I have my pair in. They are O.K. there, but I think they could use a 30. They're pretty big frogs compared to other darts. 4 auratus would do well, and maybe 3 leucs. I always agree with Josh about more room than the 5 gal per frog rule. Even with some thumbnails, it stretches the limit.

Hey everybody. I appreciate the input. I ended up goin with the 20H, and i'm just waitin on wood and plants and stuff now from blackjungle. Luecs might be what I go for, but... If I do get the azures or even some kind of tincs, would 3 froglets, 2 months old or so, be good? I know if I get only 2 i have only a 50% of getting a pair. So, if I get 3 of either now, and sell the extra, hoping they're not all the same sex, and just keep with the pair? or is 3 froglets even to much for azures or tincs???
