I NEED LIVE MICE IN EL PASO TX

palita Jun 17, 2005 09:22 AM

Does anyone know of a source of live feeder mice (all sizes pinks to adults) in or near El Paso TX? I will be moving there soon and will lose my local mouse dealer.

If you don't know, please reply with any info on websites, forums, etc. that may have info on this.

Thanks,

Zane

There's a feed store in the Northeast part of town that sells various sizes of live mice, I believe. Talk to Steve at hognosesnakeplus.com and ask where he gets his- he always seems to have some when I visit. If I can help you with anything else here in town, just let me know.

I used to live in El Paso and there are several petstores that sell live mice.

However, I don't know why you wouldn't just use frozen mice. Just a few hours away is The Mouse Factory in Alpine, Texas (mousefactory.com). They can usually ship orders by freight on the greyhound bus for just a few dollars.

I agree with Chris, frozen/thawed are much better...cheaper and better for your snake.

you can also check out www.bigcheeserodents.com they're in texas... not sure where though. but they sell live mice for local pickup. i buy my frozen mice from them, good guys there also.

I live in El Paso and have lots of mice. How many snakes do you have? I breed my own mice as feeders and usually have quite a few left over. I always have pinkies, hoppers and full grown. If you don't need an insane amount, let me know, I will give them to you at no charge. Contact me at snakenbake1@yahoo.com and let me know. Thnks, Mike.
