Cham's on Dr. Dolittle 2? LOL

trinacliff Jul 14, 2003 06:43 AM

At least I think it was 2...I was flipping through the channels lastnight and I saw a talking chameleon pop up...it was one of the Dr. Dolittle's. It was so funny to see them "talking" in the movie...it made me wonder what they are thinking about in those little heads.
What species were they? I was thinking that they might be either Dilepis or Deremensis...I'm leaning towards the first, though I didn't get a great look. Does anyone know? Just curious.

Kristen,

If I remember correctly the Chameleon in Dr. Doolittle II was a C.Dilepis. The one major problem was in the movie Eddie Murphy stated that he got it from Mexico and it spoke with a Mexican accent. As we all know they (and no other Chameleon) come from Mexico or anywhere near. It was cute none the less. " I'm Blending" " Oh No! My Blender is Broken"

There was also a veiled chameleon sitting in front of Hermione in the last Harry Potter movie. It was in the part where they are learning to change animals into water goblets.

I saw that one. I think it was a veiled but I can't recall.

It WAS a veil. A very stressed veil, considering it was grey with NO green whatsoever.

I was a little upset about that.

I thought it was a fake cham when I first saw it. Like a model or something. I don't remember if I saw it move or not.

OK, OK, so I watch kids movies... Other than that I am totally mature.
