hi guys
she mated several times early this year but nothing happen until i change the cage set up and give her more privacy recently. her behaviour change because she doesnt want me to handle her and she attack her mate that i just put in just to test her.she became very restless and sensitive. on 11 june she shed afterr eating 2 medium size guinea pigs. she became more and more restless she alway go to the dry area.is she gravid?. ive waited 3 years for this.is there any other sign that i must know or see to conform that she is gravid.by the way just incase she is when is the right time for me to prepared the incubator and the egg box?

30 days now before she lays her eggs from what I've read.She ate two large meals after she shed, that doesn't sound like she has a full belly of eggs if she can put that away.Did she look bigger at all before you fed her.Well good luck, I know mine weren't so lucky after hooking up and she is way ready, need to cool them down definately this year for a few months before introducing again.Keep us posted.

she shed after the meal,not before.the behaviour change toward the male is also before the meal.she usually shy away when the male is around.should i try to offer her food?
if she takes it, is she gravid or if she not taking the food?
any other sign that i should look up to

My gravid female blood didnt eat between ovulation and her pre lay shed which was about six weeks. She laid her eggs 25 days after her pre lay shed. I know some people have said that thier bloods eat after ovulation but it is rare that they eat after the pre lay shed. If she refuses food that would be a good sign. Gravid bloods can be a little difficult to tell if they are full of eggs because they are so heavy bodied anyway. I would definitely set up a nest box and see if she spends alot of time in it. If she is gravid she should lay eggs between the 4th and 10th of July, she will spend time in the nest box but seem very restless while in it a day or two before laying.

when i spray the nestbox she come out and look for dryer place, the when nest box is a bit dry she just stay there for week doesnt want to come out.very restless and hissing a lot when i peek in.its so hard here in malaysia to get any information and the websites gives very general info

You want the humidity high but you dont want the nest box wet. If you are getting it too wet that might be why she is leaving. The pic looks like it is possible she is gravid definitely thick through the back half. The key is if she still eats In my opinion if she eats again then she is not gravid. if she refuses food then I would expect eggs, she really shoudnt want to eat again until after laying. Is this her first shed since you saw them hooked up? How regular was she feeding before the shed?
I know how crazy it can get wondering if snakes are gravid or not

the last time they hooked up is in january.in march, she down with severe RI until i send her to clinic. after few day she shed for the first time.(she is fine today)this is her second shed. she is fed every 2 week.before this i only feed her 1 big rat at a time because she used to be overweight according to the vet. last feeding she ate 2 medium size guinea pigs and 1 rat a week later. i guess that she doesnt have enough fat storage and privacy before that y she doesnt lay any egg.i keep her in 4ft aquarium (becoz we dont have herp cage in malaysia)with just a water bowl and crumple paper.last two month i put exoterra jungle earth substrate and close half of the aquarium to give her more privacy. a few week later she started to change behaviour till today.
i guess i hav to try to feed her to see if she ate or not.
