"Hots" Training?

Hi all,

I was wondering if there was anything similar to the AZA Crocodilian captive management course like they offer for crocodilians, that would be similar for "hots"? I am interested in trying to learn how to work with venomous snakes, but the closest zoo (Columbus Zoo) doesnt take anyone that is not of certain ages (usually teenagers). I can't find any private facilities to work with near me or anything. Does anyone happen to have any other ideas? I live in Columbus, Ohio and I am seriously trying to find a mentor to help me learn the ropes when handling "hots". If anyone happens to have an idea for me, or know someone who could help, I would be greatly appreciative.
