Have Some Questions...........

OneTwoManyHerps Jul 14, 2003 08:29 AM

I am currently debating on a few herps to fill two empty tanks of mine. I still have to do some work on the old entertainment center but once done it can easily house aboreal herps. I was wondering what types of leaf tail geckos are largest and would also like to see some pics of enclosures. Thanks Tyler

The largest Uroplatus, is the 'white-eyed fimbriatus' but this is very rare, the largest of the common pet ones is U. Fimbriatus gaining a length of over 30cm.

Here is a link to pictures of my 1.1 Fimbriatus, their enclosure and other geckos I keep. The enclosure is 20" x 20" x 36". I'm in the process of designing a larger cage which will be 3' x 3' x 4'. As you can see in a couple of the pictures, they are fairly tolerable of handling. All I need now is some eggs!

Hope this helps
