Hi Deborah

I have a great scale that I use for weighing critters and my mail! It is made by "The Good Cook" and is called an electronic scale. I got it at Wal-mart for about $20-$25. It has a 10"x6" removable tray. You can weigh in either ounces or grams and will read up to 5 lbs. If you have a 5lb beardie, well...good luck!!

well the best scale would be a mettler toledo scale. these can cost a pretty penny too. try like a couple thousand dollars. not only that, but if you get your hands on one, expect the DEA to be watching you. Good ol George Bush and his wonderful patriot act. these scales are commonly used in chemistry labs for measureing milligram amounts, and/or drug dealers.

now i know that you don't need anything like that, but then and again, you asked for the best...

really though, unless you buy or get what i've just explained, you don't need a digital one. you'll be wasting your money. one of those cheap digitals are just as accurate (or just as inaccurate) as a spring loaded gravity scale. plus, whats a couple of grams amongst friends?
