Shedding leftovers

StepyGeckoGirl Jun 18, 2005 11:55 AM

I came back from my bf's house and he had some skin on his head by his mouth but on top by his nose. He doesn't let me hold him yet but it still hasn't came off and it's been a week. He must have ate the rest and I saw 2 little bits in the cage. Should I worry? there is nothing on his toes or anything just up by his nostrils but not covering them I guess it doesn't bother him but how do I get it off if I can't hold him. He shedded the rest of his skin just fine cause I spray ever day to keep it humid in his hide boxes. He's eating fine and everything and is just as happy as ever and he is responding to me every time I come in the room he peaks his head out of his cave. My voice must trigger FOOD! lol Also he is getting brighter his dark dark yellow got brighter and now his tail is white with black spots and lavender stripes with black spots and up by the base of his tail there are a couple orange stripes by the lavender ones yay he's so pretty! I'll try to get another pic soon.

I just was feeding him and spraying down his cage and stuff and I moved his cave to spray under it because that's where the heater is humidity and all. And I went to try to hold him again and I got him half an inch off the cage floor!!! yay ! I knew he was starting to be interested in my voice because of food but woohoo! He was warm so at least he's getting heat (are they cold blooded? I think so ..) and then I petted him then he went under his half log on the cool side of his cage I'm glad he isn't really scared anymore I felt bad even trying to pet him when he was huddled in the corner which I didn't understand because he let the girl at the petstore pick him up he squirmed at first and then let her pet him and put him in the box. but I'll shut up yay!
