First clutches of Imperial Pueblans

scvreptiles Jun 18, 2005 07:09 PM

The new f4's of Imperial Pueblans have started hatching. The first of our colubrids to breed and the first to hatch, with a new morph in each clutch! Should be a banner year for the Imperial Pueblan.

do you have pics of the parents? I am wondering - do the parents have to be high red to produce high red babies? If you have a milk-king hybrid with little to no red, can they still pass on red colors in the babies? There is not a lot written on hybrid results and genetics (outside the albino trait.)

thanks, charlene
