it also looks like a female to me, no pores or bulges. But I bought it from A&M gecko which is supposed to be trustworthy as a Male, it was 6 grams at the time!!! But Im guessing it was temp sexed, if so DO I have a HOT female, I know HOT females have problems and thats the only reason Im hoping it turns out a male. I dont mind her being a female, I just dont want her to be a HOT female!!!

How can I tell if shes a HOT female or not?? besides of course maating her which would not be for awhile????

Hmm hard one. You can't tell from looks as far as I am aware if its a hot female, a female is a female. Just have to keep an eye on her from what I have heard they are more boystrious.(sp)

Either way the gecko in the picture I'm sure is a female. As to how you have a female when they claimed it was a male you can only guess. You've either got a hot female, a female because they picked up the wrong one.

if you guys are sure it is, I very well might buy a male at th NY show. So I dont want 'her' then to turn into a male..

geckos usually can't be accuratly sexed till about 4 months old, so don't buy anything yet. if it turns out to be a female, then you can see if they will trade with you, i know a lot of the breeders i buy from say they will. it sure looks like a female though, but if its a hot female, all that really means is they mature slower.

I do not remember who you are by your name but with so many customers I can forget. I just want to tell everybody out there that in 5 years in this business I have never guaranteed the sex of a leopard gecko at 6 gr. The most I could have said is temperature sexed, which does not guarantee the sex. I cannot sex the geckos 100% at 15-20 gr. Anyway, stop at my table at the NY show and I will try to help you anyway I can.
