shedding problem.......

Hello:
My ball python just went through her first shed which of course was incomplete now he has all the skin of but the head, should I help him with the head? any ideas how? or should he be able to do it on his own, its been a week now.....

If the eye caps are still there, that could eventually lead to problems. Try a warm bath for 20-30 minutes and then gently try to rub off the retained shed.
