The other half of a hybrid horn frog is Ceratophrys Cornuta, also know as the Surinam Horned frog.
These guys tend to get anywhere from three to five inches snout to vent. With Females tending to be the larger four to five inch individuals. Besides having the larger horns, these guys are more mouth than the other species of horn frog.
They're also the most secretive of the horn frogs and enjoy a well planted environment. my surinam's enjoy hiding in lose sphagnum moss as well as at the base of plants.
As far as sexing horn frogs goes, it can be hard to tell until they're mature.

The photo is of a wild caught yellow male Surinam horned frog. He's about 3 1/2" snout to vent. The green one is a captive bred eight month old juvinile who's almost an inch an half.
