What should I get?

system_of_a_down Jun 19, 2005 12:55 PM

Hi, I'm contemplating getting a big lizard in a couple of years and I want to know which to get. Basically I've narrowed it down to a Green Iguana, a Rhino Iguana or a Savannah Monitor. I do have an animal friendly dog and other animals but they would not come into contact.
thanks for any help you can give.

get the savanah...no questions asked...they can become dog tame if handled regulary and dont have the super long whip tail that the iguana does.also the whole vegetarian thing gets old really quick and youll stop feeding him regularly because youll hate chopping up vegies...no matter what you say...its 100% true...ask anyone that owns one...it gets old quickly...the savanah is a much much better choice...maybe not as pretty but owell...

i think a savanna is the way to go to, as long as you get a captive bred one, that that could be hard to do.. but its not that hard... most are not CB so just be carefull.
